In the month leading up to the formal, the pressure is mounting and Hannah and Mon’s intimate and flirtatious committee meetings have turned into large-scale logistical nightmares. Despite Hannah’s best efforts, it’s tough to find time alone with Mon. She has a jam-packed extracurricular schedule and not much space in her life for a relationship and Hannah can’t help but process this as rejection.
